Most men wonder why women have to carry purses when they themselves need nothing but a simple wallet to carry their money, credit cards, and ID. What they don’t know is that our purse is our lifeline. Most of us will buy a new purse once every six months. Somehow we feel the need to get bigger and bigger because of all the things that we have to cram inside.
Unfortunately those big bags seem to weight us down and slow us down. It is important to only carry the essentials and to narrow the list of things we need to only the essentials.
1. Chapstick is one of the most important things that should always be in your purse. Most 
of us don’t think we need it that much – but when you least expect it you will find that your lips will be chapped and you will be begging for some before the day is out. Just make sure that you buy the right kind. Natural Beeswax or Vitamin E chapstick is the best way to go to keeping those lips healthy and hydrated.
2. Foundation is a definite must in our bag of wonders and we should never leave home without it. If we are out of the house for a long period of time we know that there will be a need to freshen our makeup. Having the right foundation on us always will help.
3. Mints are great to have especially after you have had something that was great to eat – but horrible to on the breath. It is also a must have when you are out on a romantic date.
4. You need to make sure that you carry presume or body spray with you. Who knows when it will stop working and you always want to make sure that you smell great for the day always.
5. If you are going to carry foundation than you need to make sure that you add a bit of color to your face with some blush. It won’t do any good without the right color to compliment your face.
6. On those windy or rainy days it is important that you can control the way your hair looks. To accomplish this you need to carry a hairbrush. Travel hairbrushes are easy to find and are great because they fold up nicely and don’t take up much room in your purse.
7. All of these items wouldn’t be complete or useful without a compact mirror. You aren’t going to find a mirror everywhere you go so it is important that you keep one on you at all times.
