Ways To Control Oily Skin

There are usually two skin types that people have to deal with oily and dry. Between the two of them we have to say that oily is the worst to deal with. Oily skin is caused by stress, certain diets, and sometimes the way the enviroment is. Some people have oily skin naturally because their body makes too much skin oils. 

Oily skin is annoying because it makes you shine and it can cause you break out in acne. To prevent this you need to make sure that you wash your face every night before you go to bed and even sometimes in the morning when you wake up. For those who wear alot of make up you want to make sure that you get all of it off before sleeping. If you leave the make up on over night it will seep into your skin and block your pores – making your face breaking out inevitable.

For some people washing your face is not enough – which is why there are so many products on the market today. First of all you need to understand that you need to be gentle on your skin. Just because it is really dirty doesn’t mean that you need to be harsh with it and scrub it till there is nothing left.

Always use a gentle type of soap on your skin (dove is the best) and wash with lukewarm water not burning hot. After you’re done you need to put on oil free moisturizer. I know that most beleive that a moisturizer will make your oily skin worse – but using the oil-free kind will make your skin smooth – but not oily and will help to keep it clean. For some who wear alot of make up we recommend that you find an alcohol free toner that is gentle on your skin. That way you can make sure you take everything off.
